RHO deals and the auction starts as follows:

(1D) 2D*
(P) 2H (3D) ?

* Michaels, at least 5-5 in the majors and either less than an opener, or at least a king more than an opener.

(a) What should 3H show now?

(b) What should a double show?

(c) If you change opener's suit to clubs

(1C) 2C*
(P) 2H (3C) ?

then there's an additional option of bidding 3D. What should that show? And does having 3D available change the meaning of 3H or Double?

I think it shows 6H+5S, weak.

I think it shows the stronger of your 2 ranges but I play the stronger
option a lot stronger than you with a wider range in the middle. For me
the strong option says game may be good with a fit and 1 good card such
as A or K of a major.

Not sure, may be 5530 weak. I have never discussed it with any partner.

My usual agreement is that when the MIchaels bidder rebids in a major, he shows extra shape, while bids such as double, notrump, cue-bid or the other minor would show extra strength. Over a major, where the side minor is not known, minor suit bids would be natural/extra shape as appropriate.

Mine too. Double shows values for defense, say enough to beat the
contract if partner has one trick. Notrump is strong with less defense
than double. Bidding the "impossible" suit shows 5530 and strong.

Any bid should show the strong range (but mine is stronger then yours). You
double with low ODR and bid with high ODR.
