You arrive at 6S with no opposing bidding. The club ace is led and you see the following:

You ruff in dummy, and laed a small spade. RHO plays the king, you the ace. and LHO follows. How do you continue?

I think I can make it if LHO is 4 3 3 3.
At trick three, play AK and ruff a heart.
Cash two clubs.
Play Q A K J of diamonds to endplay LHO.

After more thought, I think I can make it if LHO
is 4 2 4 3.
I can cater to both distributions with another
line of play.
At trick three cash two clubs discard a heart and a diamond from dummy.
Tricks five, six and seven cash three high
diamonds. If both follow cash A and K of hearts
and ruff a heart. A club will endplay LHO.
If RHO shows out on the third diamond, cash A and K of hearts and ruff the diamond J. Again,
a club will endplay LHO.

I think I can make it if LHO is 4 3 4 2.
To delay the decision, at trick three cash
just one club then play three top diamonds
to see RHO show out. Then cash A and K of
hearts. Now everyone has five cards and you
must guess if RHO was 4 3 4 2 or 4 2 4 3.
If 4 3 4 2, win the diamond J and ruff a heart.
If 4 2 4 3, ruff the diamond J and cash club Q.

I feel that this is an interesting play hand because you have to plan for 2 distributions, 4342, and 4333. Is there a way to accommodate both? You need LHO to hold exactly 3 hearts, because you need to ruff a heart to come to 12 tricks. So, which distribution do you play fort?

I think 4 2 5 2 and 4 1 5 3 make the fourth and
fifth shapes for LHO we can win against. Start
the same, Club K (discard a heart from dummy)
and Q A of diamonds. Then A of hearts and two more diamonds. Now guess which of the two shapes LHO started with.
If 4 2 5 2, cash another heart and ruff a diamond.
If 4 1 5 3, abandon hearts and ruff a diamond.
Cash the last club.
If you guess correctly, you will win the first
10 tricks and LHO is stuck with J98 of spades.
You will have 10 x of spades and x of clubs.
Dummy will have Q x of spades and x of hearts.

All of these solutions work by eliminating the
non-spades from LHO while winning the first 10
tricks.
