ACBLScore - Need help with Team masterpoint awards

Hi,

I directed a swiss team event yesterday, and there were pairing mistakes
in the 3rd round (the mistakes were not in ACBLscore, but on the board
where teams got their table assignments).

Didn't find out in time, so had to over-ride team assignments for the
3rd round and 4th round. There was a round robin that was also a
problem.

ACBLScore allowed me to override each of the team results so the scores
all come out correct.

But the masterpoint awards are only for the game wins, not for coming
1st, 2nd, etc in VP's.

Any advice about how to get ACBLscore to make these awards?

(I haven't done a lot of team games on ACBLscore, and I seem to remember
getting the correct masterpoint awards was a problem the last time as
well, even where there were no over-rides. That time my co-director was
able to solve it. I've e-mailed him for advice, and he's come with a
blank this time. Hope someone here has ideas!)

Might ACBLscore think that some matches haven't been entered?

I don't think it calculates overall MP awards until the game is finished.

I think you're probably right, Wes. Which means there is no fix (at least
the way I did it, by directing the results for each team).

I wonder if there is another approach that was available to me after the
pairing got fouled up?

Go back to the pairing screen and change the pairing to match with game actually played. Then re-enter the scores. Don't use team score adjustment. That will cause your problem of not getting correct win/loss count.
